TU to hold Night Hawk Review Creative Arts Virtual Party
Post Published On:Arts for the Community at Thomas University will celebrate its student writers and artists during a virtual party set for 6 p.m. Saturday, May 9, online at facebook.com/actu31792/live.
The event is based on the Night Hawk Review, TU’s annual student literary arts journal. The virtual party will include readings by student writers and art presentations.
The event will also feature guest poet Matthew Zapruder, the author of five collections of poetry and a book of prose. He is editor-at-large at Wave Books, where he edicts contemporary poetry, prose and translations. From 2016 to 2017, Zapruder was editor of the poetry column for the New York Times Magazine. He teaches in the Master of Fine Arts and English Department at Saint Mary’s College of California in Moraga, California.
