Home Electronics Recycling
Post Published On:The Thomas University Sustainability Group is partnering with Keep Thomas County Beautiful and the City of Thomasville in observance of America Recycles Day by holding a home electronics recycling event Nov. 11-14. Recyclable home electronics may be dropped off in the bin located on TU’s Forbes Campus in the parking lot at the Pinetree Boulevard entrance.
Recycling these items instead of throwing them in the trash helps to protect human and environmental health. While televisions are not being accepted, many other electronics are.
For more information, contact Karen Harvey with TU’s Sustainability Group at kharvey@thomasu.edu or 229-226-1621 ext. 1086.
