The Thomasville Genealogical Library, located on the Forbes Campus of Thomas University, will reopen for limited hours beginning July 7 with safety measures in place.

While Thomas University does not officially reopen until later, the Genealogical Library will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guests must call 229-226-9640 to enter the library during its hours of operation.

Several safety measures will be in place for those visiting the Genealogical Library. Guests must wear a mask at all times while on campus. Any personal items, such as a purse or laptop, must be sanitized when entering the library. Hand sanitizer will be provided, and guests must use it before entering the library. Each guest’s temperature will be checked at the entrance. Each guest must also sign a waiver releasing TU of any responsibility if that guest contracts COVID-19.

After each day’s use, the Genealogical Library will be thoroughly sanitized for the safety of all guests.

For more information, call 229-226-9640 or email Kathy Mills, Director of the Thomasville Genealogical Library, at kmills@thomasu.edu.
