Pinetree Dining Hall – Work Study
The position consists of working with the Manager of Residential Food Services by assisting with the upkeep, cleanliness, and safety of the dining area located in the Pinetree Residence Hall.
Tasks:
- Clean, sanitize tables and other surfaces as needed
- Respond to customer inquiries or problems in a courteous manner to the Manager of Residential Food Services
- Assist in breakdown salad bar
- Assist in keeping stock room organized (in order)
- Close dining hall at end of shift
- Wash, scrape and deliver dishes as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Work as a team member
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be a full time student
- Must be in good academic standing
- Must have the ability to take and follow through with directions
- Be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time
- Must have good work habits i.e. be on time and work on the days and times assigned
- Works collaboratively with the Manager of Residential Food Services
Work Conditions:
- Be able to work twenty hours per week during the time that TU is in session
- Be able to work in the Pinetree Residence Hall Dining area
