Dining Services

We know that food is the fuel to our students’ success both in and out of the classroom. So, Thomas University offers students a variety of dining services and meal plans to fit the needs of all our students.

Hawk’s Nest

Students can grab a quick breakfast, lunch, or snack at the Hawk’s Nest located on the Forbes Campus inside the Campus Center. Hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The Hawk’s Nest accepts, cash, credit/debit cards, and all TU meal plans.

Pinetree Dining Hall

TU’s Dining Hall is located inside the Pinetree Residence Hall and offers buffet-style dining in a communal setting. Busy students can take advantage of to go options for breakfast and lunch during the week. And there are monthly occasions when the kitchen serves dishes representing different holidays, cultures and themes.

Pinetree Dining Hall serves three meals per day Monday through Saturday with brunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday. Breakfast is served 7:00-8:30 a.m. Lunch is served Noon to 1:30 p.m. and dinner is served 5:30-7:00 p.m. Brunch on Sunday is served from 10:30 a.m. to Noon. Pinetree Dining Hall accepts all meal plans, and individual meals can be purchased for $9.25 plus tax per meal.

Please note that all residents of Pinetree Residence Hall are required to purchase the TALON meal plan.

Magnolia Dormitories

Students who live in the Magnolia Campus residence halls have full kitchens located in their apartment units.  Students may opt to purchase a dining services meal plan at the Pinetree Residence Hall.  Students who do not live in the Pinetree Residence Hall can purchase the Full Meal Plan.

Occasional Meals

For students not living in the Pinetree Residence Hall and TU staff, occasional meals can be purchased for $9.25 plus tax per meal.

Meal Plan Reservation

Thomas University Dining offers a variety of meal plans that can be used at the Hawk’s Nest and the Pinetree Dining Hall. The meal plans are:

Talon Plan	19 meals per week. Required for students in Pinetree and Overflow Housing.	$1,740 per semester
Big 10 Plan	10 meals per week	$1,200 per semester
Commuter Plan	5 meals per week	$675 per semester
Early Access Plan	3 meals per day. Fall athletes arrive early.	$440

All meal plans must be purchased before the first day of classes. Payment can be made through HawkLink (our student portal). Payment may also be made by calling 229-227-6883.

To make online payments, log in to Hawklink account and go to My Ledger.  There is a button to make online payments.
