Men’s Football Offensive Coordinator

Thomas University, a member of the NAIA Sun Conference, located in Thomasville, Georgia, is seeking applicants for the position of Football Offensive Coordinator for its Military Transition Football Team that is specifically designed for members of the U.S. military who are transitioning into and out of national service. 

Job Description:

The Offensive Coordinator will report to the Head Football Coach, and will be responsible for organization, administration, coaching a position group, and practice planning (skill development, and strategy’s), fund raising, and student-athlete recruitment, and retention for the Men’s Football Team, and Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will recruit, develop, and execute the team’s offensive game plan. This includes crafting the overall offensive strategy’s, creating a playbook, and making in-game adjustments to exploit the defensive weaknesses. This coach will be responsible for coaching the Offensive Line, and TE’s and may be involved in personnel decisions.

Education Required:

Bachelor’s degree required.

Experience:

3 – 4 years’ experience within a Professional, Collegiate, or High School football program.

Compensation:

Salary is commensurate with experience based on the Department scale.
