Head Women’s Soccer Coach
Job Description
The Head Women’s Soccer Coach will report to the Athletic Director and will be responsible for the overall organization, administration, and leadership of the women’s soccer program. Responsibilities include practice planning (skill development and strategy), game preparation and management, fundraising, budget oversight, scheduling, student-athlete recruitment and retention, academic oversight, compliance with NAIA and Southern States Athletic Conference regulations, and additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
The successful candidate will recruit, develop, and lead a competitive women’s soccer program consistent with the mission of the University. This includes establishing the overall vision and philosophy of the program, hiring and supervising staff, developing offensive and defensive systems, overseeing collaboration with strength and conditioning staff, managing roster composition, and making personnel decisions.
The Head Coach is responsible for maintaining compliance with NAIA and Southern States Athletic Conference rules, promoting academic success and character development, fostering community engagement, and ensuring effective program administration.
Education Required
Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience
3–5 years’ experience within a Professional, Collegiate, or High School soccer program, with demonstrated recruiting experience and previous collegiate coaching experience preferred. Head coaching experience is strongly preferred.
Compensation
Salary is commensurate with experience based on the Department scale.
