Vice President of Enrollment Management
DESCRIPTION:
Thomas University, an independent, not-for-profit, institution of higher education in Thomasville, Georgia with undergraduate and graduate programs invites applicants for the position of Vice President of Enrollment Management.
Position Overview: Vice President of Enrollment Management provides leadership and strategic direction for student recruitment, enrollment, retention, and academic advisement. This role is responsible for creating a supportive student experience from initial inquiry through graduation, ensuring that enrollment and advising strategies align with Thomas University’s mission, values, and enrollment goals.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement comprehensive enrollment management strategies, including recruitment, admissions, financial aid coordination, and retention initiatives.
· Oversee the academic advisement process, ensuring that students receive timely and accurate guidance regarding academic requirements, course selection, and degree completion.
· Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administration to strengthen student support services and promote persistence and success.
· Monitor enrollment trends, analyze data, and prepare regular reports to inform institutional planning and decision-making.
· Supervise and provide professional development for staff within admissions, advising, and related areas.
· Represent Thomas University to prospective students, families, community partners, and external organizations.
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accrediting body requirements related to enrollment and advisement.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of a Master’s degree, with prior experience working at a college or university.
· Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in enrollment management, academic advising, or related areas in higher education.
· Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
· Demonstrated commitment to student success.
· Experience with enrollment management systems and student information databases.
Reporting Structure:
Reports directly to the Thomas University President. Supervises admissions, advisement, and support staff.
