TU’s Counseling program ranked as a top degree on two of Intelligent.com’s lists

Intelligent.com recently named Thomas University’s completely online Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling to two of its lists. TU’s degree program ranked number 18 out of the top 61 online Counseling programs and number 9 out of the top 27 online master’s degrees in addictions and recovery degree programs Students in TU’s program have the option of earning a specialization in Alcohol and Addictions.

We are constantly looking for ways to improve our content and delivery to attract students from across the country who choose to enroll in a completely online CACREP-accredited counseling degree program.”

The rankings are part of Intelligent.com’s Higher Education Resource Guide, which is based on an assessment of programs at 1,280 colleges and universities that are accredited and fully online. Each program is evaluated based on curriculum quality, graduation rate, reputation, and post-graduate employment. The 2021 rankings are calculated through a unique scoring system which includes student engagement, potential return on investment, and leading third-party evaluations. The methodology algorithm then collects and analyzes multiple rankings into one score to easily compare each university. 

Intelligent.com also noted that TU is transfer-friendly and that its Counseling program has a low faculty-to-student ratio.

TU’s completely online Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health and Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling Degree is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). Students completing the degree are eligible to take the national Certified RehabilitationCounselor (CRC) exam and become licensed as a professional counselor in the state in which they live.
