TU adds two new graduate Business degrees

Post Published On:

This fall Thomas University’s Division of Business will begin offering a master’s degree in Human Resources and a master’s degree in Management.

These two programs are ideal for graduate students who want to specialize in a particular field and will provide a competitive advantage for graduates entering the workforce. Both degrees will be offered online and on campus. Either degree can be completed in 18 months.

“The master’s degree in Human Resources prepares students for all positions in human resources, in private, public, and social sector industries,” said Dr. Melinda Piller, Chair of the Division of Business. “This field and the need for HR managers is rapidly growing and developing into one of the most important position in a firm. The master’s degree in Management prepares students for all levels of management and in all sectors as well. This degree means graduates will be able to compete for job opportunities ranging from small businesses to large international corporations.”

The two new graduate degrees are in addition to the Master of Business Administration degree the division already offers. TU’s MBA can be completed in one year.

“Our goal is to provide TU students with educational programs that support not only their academic growth but also their professional interests,” Piller said. “When students graduate from any of the programs currently offered in the Business Division, they should be prepared to compete with other applicants from colleges and universities from across the country.”
