Thomas University Social Work Honors celebrates program graduates who complete their Bachelor of Social Work degree with a grade point average of 3.5 or above in their upper division courses.

Their achievements are signified by the use of a rainbow cord worn at the commencement ceremony. The rainbow cord intertwines six colors, which represents the weaving together of Social Work’s six core values: service, social justice, dignity and worth of the person, importance of human relationships, integrity, and competence.
