Thomas University announces Commencement Ceremony

Thomas University will celebrate its 68th Commencement Ceremony by honoring the graduating class of 2023 on May 6, at the Forbes Campus. 

There will be two ceremonies commemorating the accomplishments of nearly 500 students. The undergraduate ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m., and the graduate ceremony will begin at 6 p.m.  

Degrees will be conferred on the diverse class from across the country and around the world.  

Dr. Robert A. Bohman, Vice President for Student Life at TU, will deliver the commencement address to the undergraduate class of 2023.  

The Kentucky native first began his career in higher education at Thomas University in 1991 where he served until 2006 in several capacities including: Dean of Students, Vice President for Student Affairs, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Chair, Department of Education, and taught courses in the Department of Education at the Graduate level. 

After his tenure at two other universities in the states of Kentucky, Georgia, and Florida, Bohman retired in 2016 only to quickly come out of retirement to return to TU that same year.  

The ceremonies will be live streamed. The link will be shared on the day of the ceremonies on the TU website and social media accounts.
