Student Life College Work Study
The position consists of working with the Dean of Students by assisting with the management of housing data input and assisting students who may have a housing questions
Tasks:
- Update housing spreadsheets on an as needed basis and provide that information to the Dean of Students
- Coordinate meetings between the students and Dean to discuss their concerns
- Report any student issues that students may have with their rooms to the Dean
- Complete maintenance work orders in a timely fashion and keep an electronic record
- Check and maintain adequate office supplies
- Work as a team member
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be a full time student
- Must be in good academic standing
- Must have the ability to take and follow through with directions
- Be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time
- Must have good work habits i.e. be on time and work on the days and times assigned
- Works collaboratively with the Dean
Work Conditions:
- Be able to work twenty hours per week during the time that TU is in session
- Be able to work either from the Pinetreee Residence Hall or in the Dean’s Office in the Smith Bonvillian Building as needed
