Graduate Students Honored

Three graduate students who are specializing in Teacher Leadership were recognized with various awards.

Teela Clowe -Education Specialist in Teacher Leadership; 10th Grade Honors Literature teacher in North Fulton County at John’s Creek High School.  Teela won a “Beat the Buses” pass for excellent attendance in August and October of 2023.  The award is part of a school-wide initiative to improve faculty attendance.

Cherish Ingram – Master of Education in Teacher Leadership; Special Education teacher at Elbert County Comprehensive High School in Elberton, GA.  This year she was awarded Teacher of the Year and August Teacher of the Month. She also completed the Aspiring Leader-Cohort 1 program offered in her school district.

Ruby Roberts – Master of Education in Teacher Leadership; K-5 Gifted Resource teacher at James E. Bacon Elementary School in Jesup, GA.  She was awarded a $500 grant for professional development through Alpha Delta Kappa. She is using it to attend the National Gifted Conference in Orlando.
