Director of Campus Life

DESCRIPTION:

Thomas University, an independent, not-for-profit, institution of higher education in Thomasville, Georgia with undergraduate and graduate programs invites applicants for the position of Director of Campus Life.  The Director of Campus Life leads, directs, and administers campus activities and student programming for the University. Responsibilities include execution of campus activities programming, oversight of departmental budget; setting goals; coordinating assessment efforts; training and monitoring student workers. The Director implements strategies based upon student activity outcomes and student input.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
• Previous experience working in a University environment preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong supervisor skills
• Comfortable with technology and social media
• Experience with managing budgets, planning student activities, and advising student groups
• Able to work nights and weekends as needed
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
