Assistant Football Coach
Thomas University, a member of the NAIA Sun Conference, located in Thomasville, Georgia, is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Football Coach.
Job Description:
The Assistant Football Coach will report to the Head Football Coach. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assistance with all phases of the football program, including coaching your own position group, organizing practices, daily football related assignments and game-related activities. They will also commit to the academic progress and success of the student athletes in our charge. This person will assist with the scouting, recruitment, admission and retention of student athletes. They will also assist in the coordination of fundraising, camps, clinics and special events.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in football scheme development and recruiting. They must possess expert knowledge of football strategies, proficiency with video analysis tools like Hudl and strong leadership skills. The successful candidate must have a valid driver’s license.
Education Required: Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience:
3 – 5 years’ experience within a Professional, Collegiate, or High School football program.
Compensation:
Salary is commensurate with experience based on the Department scale.
