Chief of Staff Football
Thomas University, a member of the NAIA Sun Conference, located in Thomasville, Georgia, is seeking applicants for the position of Chief of Staff.
Job Description:
The Chief of Staff will report to the Head Football Coach. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assistance with all phases of the football program, including coaching your own position group, help oversee all operations of the football program, organizing practices, overseeing team travel and meals, recruiting, and equipment. They will also commit to the academic progress and success of the student athletes in our charge. This person will assist with the scouting, recruitment, admission and retention of student athletes. They will also assist in the coordination of fundraising, camps, clinics and special events.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in management. They must also possess the desire to coach football at the collegiate level and help in the development, recruiting and retention of student athletes. They must possess knowledge of football strategies, be proficient with video analysis tools like Hudl and have strong leadership skills. The successful candidate must have a valid driver’s license.
Education Required: HS Diploma required, Bachelor’s degree desired.
Experience:
3 – 5 years’ experience playing and or coaching within a Professional, Collegiate, or High School football program or managerial background.
Compensation:
Salary is commensurate with experience based on the Department scale.
