A Career in Counseling

Graduates of Thomas University’s Clinical Rehabilitation & Mental Health Counseling program will be prepared to enter a variety of career environments based on the individual’s personal passion for helping people. A CRC and an LPC credential informs employers that our graduates are competent in a variety of areas including ethics, counseling theories, and fundamental techniques to name just a few. Vocational Rehabilitation, mental health counseling, substance abuse counseling, educational counseling, correctional counseling, crisis counseling, and marriage and family work are but a few of the arenas our graduates find employment. A master’s degree in clinical rehabilitation and mental health counseling allows our students to choose from a variety of human service areas such as:
