Dixon Leads Women's Golf At SCAD Invitational

TU women's golfer Dayna Dixon was the high scorer for the Lady Night Hawks at the 2008 SCAD Invitational, played at the Wilmington Island Country Club in Savannah, GA.
Dixon finished with a 198 (99 & 99) over the two rounds. Sophomore Jessica Salter finished one stroke off the team lead with a 199 (102 & 97). As a team TU shot a 802 (403 & 399) and finished in fourteenth place.
The Lady Night Hawks will next hit the greens on Sunday March 10 as they travel to the Stonebridge Country Club in Rome, GA to compete in the Berry Invitational.
Lady Night Hawks Open Season

The 2007-08 Lady Night Hawks golf team opened their season in a rain drenched St. Augustine, FL at the Flagler Fall Slam. TU finished with a 400 on day one. Day two was cancelled due to rain.
Sophomores Kimberlee Lawson and Lindsay Hargrove led the way for the ladies, shooting a 93 on day one. They both finished tied for 74th overall in the field off 99 golfers.
TU will now refocus their efforts towards preparing for the University of Mobile Invitational in Mobile, AL on Saturday November 3.
