MBA Program Mission Statement

The mission of the Master in Business Administration program at Thomas University is to develop a program of high quality graduate education which is immediately and directly applicable to the business needs of our community, geographic region, and student body. This will be accomplished through offering an integrated curriculum of twelve, three-credit courses focusing on the core areas of business administration in management, marketing, accounting, and finance, as well as in the principles of quantitative research and analysis, business law and communication, applied economics, and international and domestic strategy and policy.

The program will be open to students with undergraduate majors in any area (assuming passage of six appropriate prerequisites for non-business majors). Students should be able to complete the program in two years of evening classes, assuming good progress at the rate of two courses per semester over three semesters per year. In implementing this program, Thomas University builds off of its strong undergraduate program in business administration as well as its rich heritage of providing distinctive educational services to equip graduates with appropriate knowledge and skills in their chosen fields.
