Online Adjunct Faculty Positions
The Division of Counseling at Thomas University is seeking a full-time faculty member to teach and advise students in our Master of Rehabilitation Counseling and Master of Community Counseling programs beginning Fall semester 2008. A quarter of the position is assigned to assisting students with disabilities in receiving appropriate services provided by the university.
Online adjunct faculty are needed to teach in a variety of subject areas in our expanding masters programs.
Proven excellence in teaching is required. Candidates must be adept in the use of instructional/online technology. Teaching strengths in behavioral research, theories of counseling, and assessment are preferred.
In addition to teaching and advising responsibilities, full-time faculty members also serve on departmental and university committees, pursue professional development, participate in community and business partnerships, and collaborate on research and grant opportunities.
For both full-time and online adjunct faculty positions, a doctorate in Rehabilitation Counseling or a related discipline is preferred; licensure as a Professional Counselor with significant experience in Rehabilitation Counseling will also be considered.
