Welcome!

Thomas University is proud of its alumni and enjoys the support of its many friends in the local community. TU encourages both its alumni and its friends to become involved with the university and help it serve the needs of its students and the community.

How can alumni and community members help Thomas University? Here are three very important ways.

Contributions
With the costs of higher education soaring, Thomas University is heavily dependent upon donor support. Financial contributions from alumni and friends are crucial to the long-term survival and viability of the University. In particular, Thomas University needs contributions for scholarship purposes. The more students we can help to get an education, the more fully we meet our mission. If you would like to help with a financial donation to the university — any amount is appreciated — please contact Melinda Friddell, Director of Development, at 229-227-6903 or click to give online.

Mentoring
The motto of Thomas University, "Education that Engages, Empowers, Transforms," is real. It is not hollow rhetoric. We work diligently with all of our students so they will have every chance to succeed. We need qualified volunteers to help mentor our students. If you are in the region and have the qualifications to assist us in mentoring students, please contact Dr. Ann Landis at 229-226-1621, ext 153.

Recruiting
Alumni and community friends are often the best recruiters for a campus. The more we can spread the word about our excellent education and wide array of programs, the better. If you would like to be involved in recruiting for the university, please contact Kerry Knight at 229-226-1621, ext. 174.
