Brandee Zambrano, Athletic Trainer
Brandee Zambrano was hired as Head Athletic Trainer in July of 2008 after serving in the same capacity on a part time basis since 2005.
Prior to her hiring on a full time basis, Zambrano worked as a Massage Therapist and Insurance Coordinator at Vinson/Harper Chiropractic in Thomasville. College athletics is nothing new for Zambrano, from August 1998 - May 2000 she served as a graduate assistant at Louisiana State University. Upon completion of her time as a graduate assistant, Zambrano remained on staff at LSU as a Massage Therapist for the athletic department until May 2005. During her undergraduate years she served as a student athletic trainer at the University of Alabama. Throughout her years at Alabama and LSU Zambrano had the opportunity to provide prevention, evaluation, rehabilitation and immediate care to many NCAA National Champions, Olympic and professional athletes.
Zambrano obtained her master's of science degree in Kinesiology from LSU in May of 2000. She earned her bachelor's of science degree in Education, graduating Cum Laude, from the University of Alabama in May 1998. The native of Springfield, VA was married to TU men's soccer coach Ricky Zambrano in May of 2008 and in May of 2010 the couple welcomed their first child Amaya Lee.
