Ann Marie Emmons, Chair and Assistant Professor of Business, Compliance Coordinator
Ann Marie Rose-Emmons earned her Juris Doctor degree from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware. She received her B.A. from Rowan University and A.A. from Burlington County College, where she was later inducted to the Alumni Hall of Fame.
Before moving to Georgia, she served for a decade at Burlington County College in New Jersey as Director of Legal Studies as well as an instructor of Business, Criminal Justice and Political Science. After being admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1998, she became a partner at the Law Offices of Emmons & Richards, LLC, in Browns Mills, N.J. In her career, Rose-Emmons has also held various government appointments as County Counsel, Prosecutor, and Public Defender.
Rose-Emmons lives in Bainbridge, Ga., with her husband, Pete, and their six sons. She is also a partner with her husband in their private law practice, Emmons & Rose, LLC, in Decatur County.
