Bill Connally, Swing Coach, Men's and Women's Golf
Bill Connally enters his fourth season as Assistant Men's and Women's Golf Coach. He currently serves as the Director of Golf at Glen Arven Country Club in Thomasville and will serve as the lead instructor for the Lady Night Hawks.
Connally has been a member of the Professional Golfers Association of America Since 1995. He completed his PGA apprenticeship while working at the Great Waters Course at Reynolds Plantation in Eatonton, GA. After becoming a PGA member he moved on to Ansley Golf Club in Atlanta where he was the Head Golf Professional under Director of Golf Phil Taylor. After four years he moved to Statesboro as the Head Golf Professional at Forest Heights Country Club.
Coach Conally's passion and understanding of teaching golf has always been a part of what defines him as a PGA Professional and has been a driving force for the last eighteen years in junior golf. Bill's junior program at Glen Arven along with his teaching skills has been recognized by U.S. Kids Golf the past four years naming him as one of the Top 50 Kids Teachers in America. His junior golf efforts were also recognized by the PGA of America in 2004 when he received the Junior Golf Leader Award for the PGA Georgia Section and East Chapter.
Bill and his wife Stephanie have called Thomasville home since 2000.
