ACTU's mission is to combine the gifts and energies of Thomas University personnel and students (Act One) with those of community members (Act Two) to provide excellent arts events for the community. Fridays at Noon

Arts for the Community at Thomas University presents Chant d’Amour: Songs of Love featuring tenor Christopher Hendley and pianist Cam Bishop on Friday, November 14 as part of their Friday at Noon series in the chapel of the Thomasville First United Methodist Church located at 425 N. Broad St in Thomasville, GA.  

Chris Hendley is Assistant Professor in the Department of Fine Arts at Albany State University where he serves as Coordinator of the Music Education program, and Cam Bishop is the Director of Music and Organist at Mulberry United Methodist Church in Macon, GA. Friday’s program will include arts songs by Caccini, Liszt, selections from Schumann’s Dichterliebe as well as more popular selections by Richard Rogers and Cole Porter. 

The concert is free and open to the public, and a complimentary luncheon provided by the church will follow the performance. For additional information visit or call 229-227-6964.
