In the second half a reenergized Truett team put TU under constant pressure searching for a goal to get them back in the game. At the 58th minute mark, TMC finally found the back of the TU net to cut the lead to one. The Night Hawks found themselves handcuffed and unable to possess the ball for large parts of the remaining thirty two minutes but were still able to create dangerous chances in front of the Bears goal that went wasted.
