Study Abroad
Thomas University supports your involvement in a variety of learning opportunities. Our study abroad program immerses you in another culture in a learning environment.
Nicaragua
Nicaragua-Students engage in intensive field experience field work in Nicaragua, investigating archaeological sites. Emphasis is on cultural adaptation to the ecosystem, regions and cultures, architecture, mythologies, ceramics and other artifacts. Study in Nicaragua is also available to students outside the science discipline. Prior to departure, students complete activities to familiarize themselves with the Nicaraguan culture. During the trip, specific activities immerse the student into the culture to give them a greater appreciation of issues affecting health and wellness of this population.
