The program provides academic foundations in communications, mathematics, intellectual curiosity, creative activity, critical thinking and human relations, as well as technical fundamentals. Program graduates are instructed in the underlying fundamentals of medical laboratory science and are well prepared to enter the workforce or to continue their education in graduate school.
The Thomas University Medical Laboratory Science program provides the knowledge and skills to qualify participants for the medical laboratory science profession. Upon completion of the program, students are eligible to sit for national certification examinations thus enabling them to achieve professional employment in the field.
The program structure acknowledges individual differences and provides opportunities for students to seek fulfillment of their respective educational goals.
