What happens when you mix interesting topics, scientists and eager learners? Lively conversation!
That’s the formula for Thomas University’s Science Café, sponsored by the Division of Education.
Science Café meets the last Tuesday of the month throughout the school year (September to April). Things get started around 6:00 p.m. for those interested in a light dinner, the conversation begins at 6:30 and winds up about 7:30- 8:00 p.m., and it all happens at The Campus Center on the Thomas University campus. Our speakers are encouraged to keep their presentations informal, so that your questions and comments can help determine the flow of the conversation.
Because of the Cafés’ popularity, some talks have been standing room only. So come early for a good seat or join us for dinner at 6:00! All Science Café Specials are an affordable $5.00. Drinks and light snacks are furnished. There is no admission charge. Just bring your enthusiasm for learning! See you there!
