Complaints of Noncompliance

After exhausting all Thomas University complaint procedures, a student who wishes to lodge a complaint of significant noncompliance with standards, policies, or procedures may contact the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges according to the Complaint Policy.

Please note:  Because the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges' complaint procedures are for the purpose of addressing any significant noncompliance with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges standards, policies, or procedures, the procedures are not intended to be used to involve the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges in disputes between individuals and member institutions, or cause the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to interpose itself as a reviewing authority in individual matters of admission, grades, granting or transferability of credits, application of academic policies, fees or other financial matters, disciplinary matters or other contractual rights and obligations.

An online student may file a complaint of significant noncompliance with standards, policies, or procedures with his/her relevant state agency, official, and/or accreditor; contact information may be obtained at the State of Georgia NonPublic PostSecondary Education Commission's website.
