OWL (Older, Wiser, Learners)

Waunell ReichertO.W.L. is a group created through Student Support Services to bring together adult students so they can share ideas and support each other throughout the learning process. Adult learners are different in many ways than younger, traditional-aged college students. Adult learners have different needs and typically learn in different ways, too. By joining together with other adults, O.W.L. members will be able to learn from experienced adult students by hearing from those who have learned how to balance school responsibilities with those at work and home. Pearls of wisdom and good advice hold tremendous value for new students who are learning how to learn again. This student group is open to distance learners, too. O.W.L. meetings are always available via Collaborate so TU’s online learners can participate as well.

For more information regarding membership and meeting times, please contact Jen Lindquist @ (229)226-1621 ext. 163 or or
