Welcome from the Division Chair

Welcome to the Thomas University Division of Nursing website.  We invite you to explore the many options available at TU for Registered Nurses who wish to expand professional opportunities through advanced nursing education. We specialize in developing leaders in nursing practice and education through our RN-BSN, RN-MSN, MSN, and MSN-MBA dual degree programs.

In order to meet the needs of students and employers in the community, we have established satellite RN-BSN programs in Southwest Georgia and North Florida.  Most recently, Thomas University has received approval from the Georgia Board of Nursing and the Central Government of the People’s Republic of China to offer our RN-BSN program at three universities in China.  Thomas University is one of just four U.S. colleges and universities to receive such approval from the People’s Republic of China.

Our highly respected, internationally recognized nursing education programs utilize a hybrid learning model, blending the best practices in traditional and online education to provide you with a personalized and convenient academic experience. When you begin classes at Thomas University, you join a small cohort of fellow students, and this cohort stays together throughout the program, so you will never feel like you are “just a number” in a massive online program.  Students interact face-to-face with professors and classmates in a traditional classroom environment once per month, yet have the freedom to complete the majority of coursework through online instruction.  Our faculty members bring current knowledge of nursing and healthcare settings to make our programs relevant and immediately applicable to your practice.

At Thomas University, we believe that earning a quality education is an investment in your future. To help make your education more affordable, Thomas University has established the “Future of Nursing Scholarship” for every new student enrolled in our RN-BSN and RN-MSN programs.  This scholarship effectively reduces the cost of tuition by 20% in each semester of enrollment in one of these programs.  In addition, other nursing scholarships are available to our students through the generous support of our community and individual donors.

Thomas University has a strong tradition of excellence in teaching and academic achievement, and we look forward to helping you reach your educational and professional goals.

Sincerely,

 Sue Otto
