TU honors those serving their country. Veterans who served in one of the recent U.S. operations in Iraq or Afghanistan receive a $500 grant each semester, and those serving in a war zone receive a 40% tuition discount.
TU is a member of Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges (SOC), a consortium of colleges and universities dedicated to helping service members and their families get college degrees.
