TU Endowed Scholarships

Thomas University offers numerous opportunities in a variety of academic degree programs as well as athletics and general scholarships. Award amounts and the actual number of awards may vary each year depending on the scholarship and the funding available.

Cecil C. McDonald Family Teacher Education Scholarship

Natural born U.S. citizen; resident of Grady County; have financial need; desire to enter teaching profession; agree to complete the teacher education program at TU; agree to teach at least 2 years in GA (prefer Grady County); have good moral conduct and citizenship; participation in extracurricular activities in high school or at TU preferred; involvement in community activities preferred

Community Endowment

Must be a senior with a 3.5 GPA; resident of Thomas or surrounding region; three (3) letters of recommendation from faculty and community members

Dr. Jeana French Endowment Scholarship

Junior or senior education major; resident of Thomas, Grady, or Mitchell counties in Georgia or Leon or Madison counties in Florida; 3.5 or higher GPA
