Thomas University is proud of its alumni and enjoys the support of its many friends in the local community. TU encourages both its alumni and its friends to become involved with the university and help it serve the needs of its students and the community.
The alumni association is an active group of diverse interests. Our roster is more than 6,000 strong and some of undergraduate alumni have returned for graduate degrees.
Many of our alumni support the students and TU through contributions, mentoring and recruiting.
With the costs of higher education soaring, Thomas University is heavily dependent upon donor support. Financial contributions from alumni and friends are crucial to the long-term survival and viability of the University. In particular, Thomas University needs contributions for scholarship purposes. The more students we can help to get an education, the more fully we meet our mission. If you would like to help with a financial donation to the university — any amount is appreciated — please contact Joe Newborn, Director of Alumni and Foundation Relations, at 229-227-6903 ext 1032 or click to give online.
Alumni and community friends are often the best recruiters for a campus. The more we can spread the word about our excellent education and wide array of programs, the better. If you would like to be involved in recruiting for the university, please contact The Office of Admissions at 229-227-6925/800-538-9784 ext 1114.
