Program Requirements

All Education majors are required to complete 48 hours of Thomas University Core Curriculum

Thomas University offers two concentration choices in the secondary grades education program.  With careful planning in the Core Curriculum, the design of the secondary grades education program makes it possible to take some of the specialization classes before entering into the profession core.  The faculty advisor will also assist teacher candidates in selecting appropriate courses that meet graduation and certification requirements.

The progression sheet lists required courses and electives. This allows teacher candidates and advisors to track progress toward the BS degree in Secondary Grades Education.

To begin your plan you can download the following progression sheet:

Feel free to contact our Secondary Grades Education Coordinator for more information about the Secondary Grades Education progression.
