Accelerate your degree: CREDIT BY EXAMINATION
To reduce the length of time and cost to complete a program of study, students may receive up to 30 combined hours of credit for approved courses towards a Bachelor’s degree or 15 hours towards an Associate of Arts degree through any of the following: CSC 120 Computer Applications Examination, institutional-departmental examinations, the College Level Examination Program (CLEP) subject examinations, the Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DSST/DANTES), or the Advanced Placement (AP) program. No grades are recorded for credit by examination.

Military Withdrawal and Readmission Policy
Thomas University understands members of the United States Armed Services may be required to postpone or put on hold their education to participate in military exercises, deployments, TDY and/or PCS requirements.
In the event that a service member is required to withdraw from course(s) due to military requirements including deployment, TDY, PCS and/or mobilization, the student must notify the school’s Military and Veteran Resources Point of Contact, and provide a written or oral statement indicating the need to withdraw from the current semester. Service members will be given an opportunity to receive a grade of Incomplete, and have a term of 6 months to complete the course. If the service member is unable to complete the course, a full withdraw from the course will be granted.
A service member returning to complete their degree program will be permitted to reenroll in the next scheduled course(s) in the same degree plan without penalty. The returning student will be readmitted into the same degree program prior to withdrawing for military service requirements.
