TU teams up with Easterseals for art project

During the 2018-19 academic year, Richard Curtis, Thomas University Associate Professor of Art, and his students worked with Easterseals clients who visited the TU Art Lab weekly to learn about drawing, painting and sculpting. During the summer of 2019, Curtis continued the weekly sessions with the Easterseals clients. Now their artwork is on display through the month of August at the Thomas County Public Library, 201 N. Madison St., Thomasville. The exhibit will be on display at the Thomas University Art Gallery, located inside the Student Life Building on TU’s Magnolia Campus, Sept. 3-Nov. 7. The exhibit will conclude with a closing reception at 6 p.m. Nov. 7 that will include a silent auction for purchasing the artwork.
