MLS graduates honored during pinning ceremony

Thomas University’s graduating Medical Laboratory Science majors were honored during the annual pinning ceremony held Friday, May 10, in Balfour Chapel on TU’s Forbes Campus. Participating in the ceremony are (from left) Jaime Ortiz, Assistant Professor of Medical Laboratory Science; Tamerat Abose of Albany, Georgia; Deborah White of Douglasville, Georgia; Abel Gutema of Albany, Georgia; Athena Hawks of Candler, North Carolina; Maria Theresa Dykes of Vidalia, Georgia; Rebecca James of Lyons, Georgia; Kaitlin Ramhofer of Thomasville, Georgia; and Leslie Cooper, MLS Program Director and Clinical Coordinator.

 

Also during the pinning ceremony, Maria Theresa Dykes (right) of Vidalia, Georgia, received the MLS Ambassador Award from MLS faculty members Jaime Ortiz (left) and Leslie Cooper.
