TU students create sculptures for bottle caps project

Students in Prof. Richard Curtis’ Studio Art Class at Thomas University display the Night Hawk sculpture they created to be used for Camp STEMtastic’s Bottle Caps to Benches projects on Monday, Oct. 29, in Smith-Bonvillian Hall. The work is one of two sculptures designed to hold bottle caps collected for the project that will be recycled into buddy benches for local elementary schools. TU students participating in the sculpture projects include (back from left) Sidnee Turnage, Lauren West, Johnell Ginnie, Kimberly Alderman, and (front) Hank Yu.
