Next Fridays at Noon performance to feature Frank Lindamood

Arts for the Community at Thomas University’s next performance in the Fridays at Noon series will feature talented storyteller Frank Lindamood at 12 p.m. Sept. 28 at the Thomas County Public Library, 201 N. Madison St., Thomasville.

Lindamood is a storyteller whose bag of tricks include a banjo and steel guitar. His stories are song-delivered with his rich and mesmerizing voice. Lindamood’s stories are deep and dark as Sopchoppy woods of North Florida where he makes his home.

Lindamood’s hometown newspaper, the Sopchoppy Examiner, describes him as “a bare-knuckled guitar player, a master of early 20th century banjo style, and a lucid but gritty bender of notes and his metal bodied resonator.” Lindamood’s songs include Appalachian and Celtic ballads, jigs, reels and originals so authentic they often mistaken for traditional tunes.
