TU SALUTE inducts new members

The Thomas University Chapter of SALUTE National Veterans Honor Society inducted its newest members during a ceremony held Thursday, May 3, in the Flowers Foods Executive Classroom inside Smith-Bonvillian Hall. SALUTE members are veterans or current military service members and TU students who have completed 12 semester hours with a minimum GPA of 3.0 for undergraduates and a minimum GPA of 3.5 for graduate students. Participating in the ceremony are (from left) Dr. Debra Gresham, SALUTE faculty adviser; Tiffoney Smith of Thomasville, a Social Work major who served in the U.S. Navy; Nicholas Dawes of Monticello, Florida, a Social Work major who served in the U.S. Army; Charity Jenkins of Ochlocknee, a Business major who served in the U.S. Air Force; and Mionica Williams of Tallahassee, Florida, a Counseling and Psychology graduate student who served in the U.S. Army. Inductees not pictured are Calvin Blue, Angela Clark, Randall Cribbs, Jairo Diaz, George Lamons and Antonio Thomas.
