Balfour to debut new book at Thomas University on Sunday

Thomasville author R.C. Balfour III will debut his latest book, “Summing It Up – A Pictorial and Anecdotal Autobiography with Spiritual Insights,” during a book signing at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24, in the Balfour Chapel on TU’s Forbes Campus.

Balfour is the author of the books “The Jesus I Know: Twelve Creative Bible Witnesses,” “In Search of Aucilla,” “Fishing for the Abundant Life,” “He Turned the World Upside Down,” “Paul Speaks to Us Today,” “The Eagle Soars: John’s Search for the Infinite,” “Adventures of the Patriarchs, The Genesis of Faith” and “The Persian Prince and the Man of God.”

In the preface of “Summing It Up,” Balfour explains that he originally thought his previous book, “The Jesus I Know,” would be his last. However, the art of writing drew him back to his computer and resulted in a compilation of stories and anecdotes that became “Summing It Up.” Balfour’s new book is also filled with spiritual insights from his life.

“Summing It Up” may be purchased at the book signing. Balfour will be available for a question-and-answer session as well as personal inscriptions. For more information, contact 229-227-6903 or advancement@thomasu.edu.
