Vendors sought for TU’s Earth Day Fair

Thomas University’s Sustainability Committee is looking for vendors for its Earth Day Fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, on TU’s Forbes Campus. Sustainably minded businesses, non-profit organizations and individuals are wanted.

“We want to help educate the community about environmentally mindful products, business practices and personal habits,” said Elizabeth DeZouche, an event organizer. “Vendors can participate in this valuable community event by setting up a booth to sell and display your wares and sharing information about your organization.”

While there is no fee for participating vendors, they are asked to donate an item or service worth at least $20 for a raffle at the Earth Day Fair. The event is open to the public. There is no admission charge.

“It’s time for the community as a whole to focus on learning and excelling in sustainable practices,” DeZouche said. “Thomas University is hoping to create an open forum for the community to learn more about sustainability so that they can in turn make better life choices for our environment and for future generations.”

For more information about being a vendor, contact DeZouche at edezouche@thomasu.edu or 229-226-1621 Ext. 1072. The deadline to register as a vendor is April 13.
