TU’s New Student Orientation starts Friday; classes begin Aug. 15
This week Thomas University’s students will return ready to start fall semester. Residential students will move into on-campus housing, including the Pinetree Residence Hall for freshmen and the two new residence halls on Magnolia Campus for upper classmen.
With the theme “Be You at TU,” New Student Orientation will start Friday evening in the gymnasium on Magnolia Campus and continue Saturday morning with sessions and tours on Main Campus. A total of 112 students have registered for New Student Orientation. Many will be accompanied by family members.
“We’re very excited to have such a large group of students attending New Student Orientation,” said Mike Lee, Executive Director of Student Life and Athletics. “New Student Orientation is a great time to familiarize these first-time freshmen and transfer students with TU and all we have to offer. It’s also the perfect opportunity for parents to ask questions and learn what to expect as the parents of new college students.”
In addition to the in-person New Student Orientation, TU also offers an online version of New Student Orientation.
Classes at Thomas University will begin on Monday, Aug. 15.
