Brown named TU Coordinator for Alumni Relations and Annual Fund

Thomas University officials recently named Samantha Brown as TU’s new Coordinator for Alumni Relations and Annual Fund effective Aug. 1. Brown previously served as TU’s Administrative Assistant to Academic Affairs.

In her new role, Brown will work with the TU Alumni Board of Governors, serve as a liaison with others at TU to develop alumni relations, and develop and implement a strategy to increase participation in the Annual Fund.

“Being from Thomas County, Samantha has an appreciation for what Thomas University brings to our community, students and alumni,” said Dr. Grady Enlow, Vice President for Institutional Advancement.  “We’re excited about having our alumni meet her.”

A resident of Boston, Georgia, Brown graduated from Thomas County Central High School in 1997. She went on to serve 10 years in the U.S. Army and was stationed at Fort Drum, New York; Fort Benning, Georgia; and Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. Before joining TU, Brown held administrative and human resources positions at Vision Quest, the Vashti Center, Southwestern State Hospital and Tallahassee Memorial Health Care.

Brown holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree and a Master of Business Administration Degree, both from American InterContinental University.

“My family has been so influential in my journey, and I think the alumni family is just as important to TU,” she said. “I look forward to connecting with our alumni and working to make Thomas University the best that it can be.”

Brown resides in Boston with her husband, Jason Brown Sr., and their children, Kai Frazier, 17, and Jason Brown Jr., 9.
