Psi Chi honor society recognizes outstanding psychology students

Three students were honored during the annual Thomas University ceremony for Psi Chi, the national honor society in psychology, during a ceremony held Thursday, May 5, in Balfour Chapel on Thomas University’s Main Campus. (From left) Quinton Williams of Tallahassee was inducted as a new member and received the Most Inspirational Student Award. Karen Silsbee of Tallahassee, a graduating student who was inducted in 2015, received the Psi Chi honor cord to wear during Commencement. Regina Jackson of Bainbridge was inducted into Psi Chi and received the honor cord to wear during Commencement. She was also named the Outstanding Psychology Student for 2016. Also participating in the ceremony were Dr. Claire Dede Avery, Chair of the Division of Counseling and Psychology; Brenda Daniels, guest speaker; and Dr. Steve DePaola, Psi Chi adviser.
