Thomas University graduates record number of students

Thomas University held its 61st Commencement on Saturday, May 7, in the Ben Grace Historic Quadrangle on Main Campus. A total of 378 students, which is a record number for TU, received undergraduate and graduate degrees. Katy Cameron Clay, a graduate student from Jacksonville, Florida, and a member of the SALUTE honor society for veterans, led the procession with the American flag.

Thomas University President Dr. Gary Bonvillian served as the Commencement speaker. Bonvillian, who has been president since 2006, will retire June 30.

Graduates lined the Ben Grace Historic Quadrangle for the Commencement ceremony.
