Focusing on climate change

Dr. Jeff Chanton, the John Winchester Professor of Oceanography at Florida State University and a 2015 American Geophysical Union fellow, was the featured speaker for the February Science Café held Tuesday, Feb. 23, at Thomas University. Chanton’s presentation focused on climate change, its effects and how researchers learn about it. The next Science Café will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, in Smith-Bonvillian Hall and feature the topic “What Does STEM Mean to You?” Presenters will be Dr. Jimmie L.
